Editorial Policy
Taylor Wiz Marketing publishes research, benchmarks, and guidance for K-12 school leaders who are making enrollment decisions with public money. This page explains how that material is produced, who is accountable for it, and what we do when we get something wrong.
Effective date: September 21, 2026
Last updated: September 21, 2026
Every guide, benchmark, and research page on this site is written by Will Rodriguez, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Taylor Wiz Marketing, and carries his name, his title, and a publication date.
We do not publish anonymous content. We do not publish under a generic company byline. If a named person is not willing to attach their name to a claim, we do not make the claim.
2. What We Publish and What We Do Not
We publish practical guidance for school leaders on enrollment marketing, original data drawn from our own accounts, and analysis of policy changes that affect enrollment.
We do not publish sponsored content, paid placements, or guest posts. No third party can pay to appear on this site, to be mentioned favorably, or to be excluded from a comparison.
3. How We Source Claims
Every factual claim about the sector carries a source, a date, and a link to the original.
We cite primary sources wherever they exist. That normally means the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools, the National Center for Education Statistics, EdChoice, state education agencies, state charter associations, and the published research of organizations including FutureEd and the American Enterprise Institute. Where we rely on trade press, we name the outlet.
If a figure cannot be sourced, it does not get published. We would rather leave a gap than fill it with a number we cannot defend.
4. How We Handle Our Own Data
Some of what we publish comes from our own advertising and outreach accounts rather than from public sources. That data is our strongest asset and it carries the heaviest obligation.
Whenever we publish an original figure:
- We state the period it covers.
- We state how many accounts and which states it draws from.
- We state how the metric was calculated, including what was excluded and why.
- We label it clearly as Taylor Wiz data rather than sector data.
Original figures are published alongside a methodology note. If the methodology changes, the figure is recalculated and the change is recorded.
5. How We Protect Client Information
School clients trust us with performance data. That trust comes before any content we might produce from it.
- We never publish an individual school's results without that school's written permission.
- Aggregate and benchmark data is reported in ranges or averages across multiple accounts, never in a form that identifies a single school.
- Any named case study exists because the school read it and approved it before publication.
- A school can withdraw permission at any time, and we will remove the material.
6. What We Will Not Claim
Taylor Wiz runs advertising and parent outreach, and works families through to a submitted application. The school then contacts the applicant, collects registration documents, and completes enrollment.
We do not have visibility into that final step, so we do not claim it. We will not tell you we enrolled a student, registered a student, or delivered a student to a first day of attendance. We report the outcome we control, which is a submitted application, measured as cost per submitted application.
Any agency claim about enrolled students should be met with a question about how that number was verified.
7. Review Before Publication
Every page is reviewed for factual accuracy before it is published. Sources are checked against the original, figures are re-derived, and any claim that cannot be traced to a source is removed rather than softened.
Will Rodriguez performs this review. Where we engage an outside subject matter reviewer for a specific piece, that reviewer is named on the page.
8. Use of AI Tools
We use AI tools in research, drafting, and data analysis. We disclose this because our readers deserve to know how the material in front of them was made.
The limits we work within:
- Every factual claim is verified against a primary source by a person before publication, regardless of how the draft was produced.
- We do not publish statistics, citations, quotes, or sources generated by an AI tool without independently confirming them at the original source.
- Editorial judgment, positioning, and every published conclusion are human decisions.
- Will Rodriguez is accountable for everything on this site, whatever tools were used to produce it.
9. Updates and Freshness
Sector data changes. Funding formulas change, programs expand, and enrollment patterns shift.
- Every content page carries a visible last-updated date.
- Benchmark and research pages are reviewed at least annually and carry a version number.
- When we update a page materially, we update the date. We do not refresh dates on pages we have not actually revisited.
10. Corrections
We will get things wrong. When we do:
- We correct the page rather than quietly deleting it.
- We add a dated correction note explaining what was wrong and what changed.
- Substantive corrections stay visible on the page. We do not hide them.
If you find an error anywhere on this site, tell us at support@taylorwiz.com and we will look at it.
11. Independence
We sell enrollment marketing services, and readers should weigh what we publish with that in mind.
Where we compare ourselves to other agencies, we say plainly that we are one of the options being compared, we publish the criteria we used, and we name genuine strengths of competitors. A comparison that only flatters the author is advertising, not analysis, and we will not present one as the latter.
